What our users say

We partner with FirstResume because they are the most seamless CV polishing tool in the market empowered by AI

Tried chatgpt for weeks and got zero interviews... FirstResume got me 3 callbacks in the first month?? actually sounds like me and takes 2 mins. worth every $$

Sarah

Product Manager @ Google

Been using FirstResume for the past month and wow... applied to 40 jobs already and got 4 interviews! Usually I'd spend forever tweaking each resume but this does it so much better than I could.

FAQ

How much does FirstResume cost?

The free plan is $0 and stays free. Premium is $24.99 a month, $17.49 a month billed quarterly, or $12.49 a month billed yearly. Max is $34.99 a month, $24.49 a month billed quarterly, or $17.49 a month billed yearly. Longer cycles are charged up front, which is where the saving comes from. Prices are in US dollars.

Is there a free trial?

Yes. Premium and Max both start with a 7-day free trial. You enter your card to begin, nothing is charged during the seven days, and the subscription you picked starts automatically on day eight unless you cancel before then. You can cancel from your account at any point during the trial and you will not be billed.

Do I need a credit card to start?

Not for the free plan, which needs an email address and nothing else. A card is required to start the 7-day trial on Premium or Max, because the subscription begins automatically when the trial ends. Payments are handled by Stripe and we never see or store your card details.

Can I cancel, and do you give refunds?

You can cancel at any time from your account. Cancellation takes effect at the end of the term you have already paid for, so you keep access until then and are not billed again. Purchases are non-refundable, which is the reason the free plan and the 7-day trial exist: try the output on a real application before any money changes hands.

Is the free plan usable on its own?

Yes. It covers ten active applications, two AI-tailored resumes and two application kits a month, five job searches returning twenty jobs each, and ten regenerations. That is enough to run several real applications end to end and judge the output before you pay anything. People upgrade when they are applying every week and the monthly caps start to bite, not because the free plan is crippled.

What is an application kit?

Everything generated for one job in one go: the tailored resume, the cover letter, the outreach email, the company research brief and the interview preparation for that posting. It counts as one kit against your monthly allowance no matter how many of those pieces you actually open, so a kit is a whole application rather than a single document.

What counts as a regeneration?

Asking the AI to redo something it has already written, such as rewriting a cover letter paragraph with a different angle or regenerating a resume suggestion you did not like. Editing text yourself is unlimited and never counts, and neither does accepting or rejecting a suggestion. Only a fresh request to the model uses one.

Why are quarterly and yearly cheaper?

They are paid up front, so the per-month price drops: 30 percent off on quarterly and 50 percent off on yearly. A job hunt usually runs for months rather than weeks, so most people end up on a longer cycle. If you are not sure how long you will need it, start monthly and switch later.

What is in Max that is not in Premium?

Unlimited credits instead of monthly caps, plus the interview side of the product: AI mock interviews with answers scored on content, delivery and language. Aptitude test practice, the interview question bank, the knowledge graph and the AI skill tutor are built and coming to Max. Premium already includes unlimited applications, thirty tailored resumes and kits a month, unlimited job searches, company research and all resume templates.

Do students or universities get different pricing?

Universities are priced separately, based on the size of the cohort and what the careers team needs configured, and students at a partner institution get access through their university rather than paying themselves. If you are an individual student, the free plan and the standard paid plans are what is available. Get in touch through our contact page about an institutional licence.

Try it before you pay for it.
