Save and revisit career paths
Save is the only thing that keeps a generated career path. Find the ones you kept under Saved Paths, and know that nothing removes them again.
Press Save on a career path or lose it. Nothing about the page is kept on its own, and once a path is saved there is no way to delete it, so be a little choosy about which ones you keep.
Save a path
- On the path page, press Save at the top right.
- The saved version opens in its place. No message confirms it. The page you are now looking at is the stored copy.
Press Back to Pathfinder first, or click into Jobs or Applications, and the path is gone. Generating the same title again means waiting through "Loading career details..." for a fresh write-up.
Open a saved path
- Open Pathfinder from the sidebar and press Saved Paths in the tab bar.
- The table has two columns: CAREER PATH, the role title, and CREATED ON, the date in day/month/year.
- Click a row to open it.
The saved page is read-only and carries the same seven cards as when you generated it, About the role through to Insights. Read a career path explains them. Back to Pathfinder returns you to the start screen.
What you cannot do here
The table has no delete, no rename and no folders, so it only grows. A saved path is also the version from the day you generated it and does not change when your profile does; after a real change to your background, generate the role again and save that copy alongside the old one.
Tips
- Save the path while you are reading it. Coming back to save it later is not an option.
- Pathfinder and Saved Paths are desktop only.
