Pathfinder writes you a dossier on one role: what the job involves, why it might suit you, the skills to build, companies to target and how to break in. Two buttons get you there. One takes a title you name, the other picks roles from your profile.

Before you start

Pathfinder does nothing until your profile is complete, which in practice means uploading your CV. Press either button with a thin profile and the profile-building window opens instead of a path. If the AI starts and gives up, you get "Complete Your Profile" with "Please upload your resume and provide a job description to use Pathfinder".

Use a desktop browser. Pathfinder is not available on mobile.

A role you already have in mind

  1. Open Pathfinder from the sidebar. It opens on the Pathfinder tab, headed "Unsure about your career?".
  2. Type a job title into the first card, I want to know the career path of a.... The placeholder shows "Full Stack Developer". A specific title gets you a specific answer.
  3. Press Generate Career Path and wait through "Loading career details...".

Generate Career Paths
Pathfinder: type a job title into the first card, or use Generate Career Paths in the second for suggestions.

Roles the AI picks for you

  1. Below the "Or" divider, the second card is Discover job roles that match your profile. Press Generate Career Paths, which reads Generating... while it works.
  2. A list of suggested roles appears, each with a short description of what it involves.
  3. Press Explore Career Path on the one you want. You land on the same kind of page as a typed title.

"No careers found" means the AI had too little to work from. Put more of your experience and skills into your profile, then try again. The suggestion list is not stored either, so going back and forth between suggestions means generating the list each time.

Save before you leave

The path page carries the role title, a green Good Match pill where the AI rates it a fit, and seven cards. Read a career path goes through them.

Save at the top right is the only thing that keeps the page. Press Back to Pathfinder, or click into any other part of the app, and the path is gone; you would have to generate it again. See Save and revisit career paths.

Good Match

About the role

Product data analysts sit next to a product team and answer the questions that decide what gets built. You own the reporting a squad runs on, design and read experiments, and turn messy event data into a clear recommendation. It is the natural next step from a product-facing internship like your one at Helix Studio, and it overlaps closely with the Graduate Data Analyst role you saved at Nimbus Analytics.

Tips

  • Hover over the tab bar and you see "AI can make mistakes. Review and edit the details before proceeding". Check the companies and requirements against their own careers pages.
  • Try variations of a title, such as "Data Analyst" and "Product Data Analyst". The companies and the strategy differ.
