Save jobs for later
Heart a posting to keep it on the Saved tab, get back to it without spending another search, and unsave it once you have ruled it out.
The heart on a job card keeps the posting on the Saved tab, so you can come back to it without running another search.
Save a job
Click the heart on any card, on either tab. It fills, and you stay where you are. Hearting costs nothing and never uses one of your monthly searches, which matters on Starter (free) where finding the same posting again would.
Find your saved jobs
- Press the Saved tab, the one marked with a heart, at the top of the board.
- Your saved jobs come as one flat list, ten to a page. Use the controls under the list to move between pages.
- Click a card to read the full posting on the right, the same as on Search.
Before you have hearted anything the tab reads "No saved jobs yet" and "Click the heart icon on any job to save it here for later."
Unsave a job
Click the filled heart again, on either tab, and the job drops off the list. That is the only way to remove one. The board has no dismiss or hide, so a role you never want to see again goes out of your results by way of your filters, not the Saved tab. See Set your job filters, or let AI do it.
Saving is not applying
A hearted job is a bookmark and nothing more. FirstResume does not track it, score it or write anything for it, and the employer's own posting stays out of reach until you press Add to Applications on the posting. See Turn a listing into an application.
Tips
- There are no folders. Saved is one list, so unsave the roles you have ruled out and it stays readable.
- Heart while the results are in front of you. A fresh search to find the same posting uses part of your monthly allowance on Starter (free).
- Read the full posting before you add it. Saving buys you the time to think about it.
