Set your job filters, or let AI do it
Keywords go in as chips, Search applies them and Filter with AI fills the panel from your profile. Your choices are still there next visit.
The Filters panel is the whole of job search. There is no free-text box on the board, so what you put in the panel is what you search for.
Open the panel
- Open Jobs from the sidebar. On your first visit press Begin Search. After that, press Filters on the right of the Search tab.
- The panel slides in from the right, already filled from your profile. A note reads "The filter is preset based on your profile." with a Click here link to your profile.
Fill it in
Type a skill, tool or role into Keywords and press + or Enter. Each one becomes a chip, and a word still sitting in the input box is not part of your search. Location works the same way, one city or country per chip.
The rest are pills you switch on and off: Experience Level from 0-2 yrs to 10+ yrs, Employment Type from Full Time to Other, and Work Arrangement with On-site, Hybrid, Remote OK and Remote Solely.
Nothing changes on the board until you press Search. Clear All empties the panel if a set of filters has gone stale.
Let the AI fill it
Press Filter with AI and it reads your profile, then sets keywords, locations, experience levels, employment types and work arrangements in one go. The button reads "Searching…" while it works. Check what it chose, adjust it, then press Search yourself.
With an empty profile you get the profile-building window instead. If you see "Failed to generate AI suggestions. Please try again.", press the button again.
If you joined through your university
Members of a partner organisation get an extra Job Source row at the top. Public Jobs searches postings gathered from company job boards. The other option carries your organisation's name and shows the roles it has posted for its students; "No organization jobs yet" means it has not posted any.
After you press Search
The panel closes, the results reload, and the badge on Filters counts what is active. Your choices survive the visit, which cuts both ways: a location you set last week still applies to the search you run today. Tips
- Keywords are chips. Press + or Enter after each one.
- Changing filters costs nothing until you press Search.
- A search with two or three keywords beats one with ten. Narrow it further only when the results are too broad to read.
