Sign in and switch between batches
Sign in with the staff credentials your account manager issues, then move between batches without losing the work you had open.
Staff sign in to the portal with a username and password, at a different address from the student app. Once inside, check which batch you are on before you do anything, because the batch decides which students, seats and requests you see.
- Open the admin sign-in page, headed Admin Panel Login.
- Type your username into "Enter your email" and your password into "Enter your password".
- Press Sign In.
Your account manager creates staff accounts. The page has no sign-up, no Google option and no reset link, so ask them for credentials or for a new password. A student who opens the portal address is sent back to the app with "You do not have permission to access the admin panel."
You land on Overview. With no active batches you get No Batches Found and "Your organization does not have any active batches. Please contact your administrator." instead.
Switch batch
- On My Students, Whitelist or Premium Requests, find the batch pill in the top bar. It carries the tier badge, the batch name and the period, for example "1 Sep 2026 – 30 Jun 2027". A batch with no name of its own reads Premium batch or Starter batch.
- Click the pill and pick from the Switch batch menu.
The page reloads when you switch, and anything unfinished goes with it: a search you have typed, a file you have chosen but not uploaded, a dialog you have open. Finish first, then switch.
Overview has its own selector under Viewing data for rather than the top-bar pill. Its list starts with All premium students, which reports across every batch at once. Pick a single batch when you are writing up one programme or one intake.
If the licence lapses
A License Inactive screen replaces the portal when your organisation's licence expires or is switched off, reading "Your organization's license has expired or is no longer active. You won't be able to access the admin dashboard until it's renewed." and "Please contact your account manager to restore access." The only button is Log out. Your data stays where it is, and the portal comes back as it was once the licence is renewed.
Tips
- Read the batch pill before you export or grant anything. Acting on the wrong cohort is easy.
- A batch running to 2099 or beyond reads Access Forever or No expiry rather than a date.
- Rename a batch so the switcher is worth reading; see Organisation settings and API access.
