Prepare with the Interview tab
Generate the questions you are likely to be asked for one job, with model answers, plus questions to ask back and concepts worth revising.
The Interview tab inside an application is a prep sheet for that one job: questions you are likely to be asked, questions you can ask back, and concepts worth revising. It is also the only place the AI mock interview starts from.
Before you start
This application needs a resume attached to it. Without one the tab shows "You need a resume first!" and a Go to resume button, and nothing generates until you have been and come back.
Generate the prep
- Open the application and press the Interview tab.
- If the tab is empty, press Generate on the Application Kit card. One run writes the cover letter, the outreach email and the interview prep together, and on Starter (free) it spends one of your monthly application kits. See Understand your plan and credits.
- Wait for "Generated successfully!".
What's on the tab
The select in the toolbar switches between three sets of content. Interview Questions are what an interviewer asks you, tagged Analytical, Behavioural, Technical or About You. Follow up questions are what you ask them, covering role clarity, team and culture, growth, expectations, company vision and work process. Relevant Concepts are topics to revise before the day. The filter beside the select starts on All; narrow it when a list runs long.
Click a card to expand it. A question opens into Explanation, Key Touch Points, Relevant Concepts, Example Interview Questions and Sample Response. A card carrying a Details button has none of that written yet, so press it and the AI fills in the explanation and sample response for that question alone.
Inside an expanded question, Add to Relevant Concepts and Add to Interview Questions lift a concept or an example into the main lists. That is how you get one into a mock interview later.
Add your own questions
Add Question sits at the right of the toolbar, and reads Add Concept while you are looking at concepts. Both are Premium: on Starter the button opens the Premium dialog instead of the form.
In the New Question dialog, choose AI Generate More Questions and a category to get more of that kind, or Ask a Custom Question and type yours into Your Custom Question. Press Generate and it joins the list. A question you were asked at a real interview and fumbled is worth adding, since you get a model answer for next time.
