Sign in, or reset your password
Get back in by email, with Google or through your university, and clear the messages that stop you: wrong password, no account, expired link.
Three routes back into FirstResume, and a reset flow for when the password has gone.
Sign in
Go to https://app.firstresume.ai and look for Welcome back!
- Fill in "Enter your email" and "Enter your password", then press Sign In.
- Or press Continue with Google and pick your account in the popup.
- Or, on a university account, press Continue with your institution, choose your university under Select your organization, press Continue, and use the address your university whitelisted. This route carries no Google button.
"Logged in successfully" means you are through. You land on New Application on a computer and Jobs on a phone.
Reset a forgotten password
- Press Forgot password?, on the right above the Sign In button.
- Type your address into "Enter your email" and press Send Reset Link. The form gives way to Check your email, naming the address the link went to. Look in your spam folder if it does not arrive.
- Click the link in the email. Create new password opens.
- Fill in "New password (min 8 characters)" and "Confirm new password", 8 to 64 characters, then press Reset Password.
- Sign in again with the new one.
When it will not let you in
"Invalid email or password" is the common one. If you created the account with Google there is no password to get wrong, so press Continue with Google instead.
"No account found with that email." means no account uses that address. Check the spelling, then try the Google route, then the address your university gave you.
"Too many reset requests. Try again in N minutes." means you asked for several links in a row. Wait the time shown and ask once more.
"This reset link is invalid or has expired." means the link is old or has been used. Go back to Forgot password? and request a fresh one.
Each of those screens carries a Back to sign in link. New to FirstResume? Press Create free account and follow Create your account.
To sign out, open the account menu at the bottom of the sidebar and press Sign Out; "You've been signed out." confirms it. If you sign in on a phone and a page you want has gone, that is the mobile app: only Applications, Jobs and Profile exist there. See Find your way around FirstResume.
