View students and grant Premium
Search the roster, read what each Tier means, open a student's record, and grant paid seats one at a time or from a spreadsheet.
My Students lists everyone on the batch you are viewing. It is where you check what a student has been doing and where you hand out paid seats.
Read the roster
The columns are Name, Email, Industry, Applications, Last update, Tier, End date, Batches and a ⋯ menu. Search with "Search students" and the Name or Email selector beside it.
Tier is the column to read first. Premium is a paid seat on a batch that is running, Pending a seat on a batch that has not started, Expired a seat on a batch that has ended and can be renewed, and Starter no seat at all.
The Export dropdown holds Export CSV for students, applications and job history, each with a current-batch version, and Export resume for primary resumes; see A student's primary resume. A single student's ⋯ menu offers Export applications for them alone.
Open a student, or meet the Premium prompt
Click a row and the student's record opens with pill tabs for Profile, Job Preferences, Analytics, Applications, Job History and Primary Resume. Analytics carries an AI-written overview you produce with Generate Overview, covering Key Strengths, Key Gaps and Recommended Actions, plus usage figures and charts. Open an application row for Job Summary, Compatibility, Research and Resume. You can read all of it and edit none of it.
Rows for students who have never held a paid seat do not open. Clicking one brings up a Premium required dialog saying only students on a paid plan can be viewed, with Cancel and Grant Premium. Grant the seat and the record opens.
Grant seats
For one student, open the ⋯ menu on their row and choose Grant Premium. The wording follows the batch tier, so a Max batch reads Grant Max.
For a group, press Grant Premium in bulk. The dialog shows Premium seats remaining and a running Selected count. Tick students in the table, or press Download sample Excel, fill it in and bring it back with Upload Excel. Press Grant Premium, which carries the number you are granting to.
A file listing more students than you have seats is refused, with a message asking you to reduce the list or upgrade the batch for more seats. Trim the file, or talk to your account manager.
On a Starter licence, bulk granting is off and student records stay closed.
Tips
- Watch Premium seats remaining before you work through a long list.
- Expired students are worth revisiting at renewal. They have used the product already.
- Current-batch export options follow the batch pill; the rest cover everyone.
