Generate your application kit
Turn the resume attached to a job into a cover letter, an outreach email and interview prep in one generation, once the three tabs unlock.
One press turns the resume attached to this job into a cover letter, an outreach email and interview prep. Three tabs fill at once.
The tabs are locked until a resume exists
Open Cover Letter, Out Reach or Interview before this application has a resume and you get "You need a resume first!" with a Go to resume button. A resume in your library will not do. It has to belong to this application, which means tailoring one (Tailor your resume for a job) or building one from the Resume tab (Create a resume for this job).
Generate
- Open any of the three tabs. They all show the same generator, labelled Application Kit.
- Tick Include company research to have the AI use the company's mission, products, culture and recent news. Where this application has no research, the box is greyed out with a note saying so; on Premium, fill the Research tab first (Research the company).
- Press Edit Resume if you want one more look before committing. Everything in the kit is written from the resume as it stands right now.
- Press Generate.
It runs in the background, so go and do something else in the app. "Generated successfully!" means it landed. A failure shows "Oops!" with Retry, and retrying does not charge you twice.
What arrives
Cover Letter holds a full letter with your name, contact details and the date filled in, ready to rework and download: Edit and download your cover letter. Out Reach holds a drafted email and the generator for more: Draft outreach emails. Interview holds likely questions with explanations, sample answers and key points, questions to ask them, and the concepts worth revising.
The dot on each tab turns green, and the progress ring on My Applications fills its last third.
What it costs
Starter (free) meters kits. The generator shows how many you have remaining beside Get Unlimited, and Premium and Max generate as many as you like. See pricing.
Tips
- Finish the resume before you generate. Editing it afterwards does not rewrite the kit.
- The kit is per application, so every job you track gets its own.
- Rewriting the cover letter later uses the Regenerate button on its own tab, with its own Starter counter.
